Environment and Agriculture Honours allows students to develop skills necessary to conduct research in their chosen discipline within the context of Environment and Agriculture.   • Apply the scientific method to address a complex biological question or problem within a realistic logistical and financial context, independently evaluate their own learning, development and progress and take steps both independently and in collaboration with others to achieve stated aims
  • Evaluate environmental and agricultural issues from a global perspective, applying national and international standards to biological data collection and reporting
  • Recognise and respect the ethical, legal and cultural responsibility of a professional biologist in society, and evaluate the way in which global ethical and cultural issues may impact on professional practice
  • Ensure research practices comply with all university, state and federal guidelines, policies, codes and laws, demonstrate professional, ethical and safe work practices
